Kosta Potamianos describes it thus: “After an odd, frolicsome evening encountering a friendly, paranoid gecko — chasing him this way and that through brush, dale hole and bramble, the penguins wake up the next morning to find three of their members dead, felled by invisible means, their flippers missing. The penguins bury their dead, and march mournfully on against a red setting sun, their thoughts haunted and their motions numbed by the spectre that their journey has entered a sober, darker phase, with unknown perils await. “
